We had a fantastic experience at the Brown Bag Deli and Cafe. The staff were very kind and friendly! The restaurant was very clean and the food was sooo fresh and tasty! How can you beat a hot pastrami sandwich with a nice cold beer? You cant! 5 stars all around! We will be back!
The cashier looked like she wanted to get paid and move on, barely acknowledging customers and giving off the impression that she’d rather be anywhere else. The bread I ordered came out burnt, and when I pointed it out, the chef didn’t react at all—no apology, no offer to remake it, nothing. What’s strange is that on weekends, when the place is much busier, the staff actually seem to work better and show more energy. I’ll be looking for other shops if I can, because the inconsistency is getting frustrating.
Nice enough staff, but $12.95 for a sandwich with hardly any protein in it. Hot pastrami on ciabatta. I could barely see the pastrami. Sadly, I won’t be back!
