Dr Brown was very informative and had good bedside manners. Don't remember seeing him after surgery. Just one-day out of surgery, don't know the outcome yet.
I broke my left ankle in March, healed went back to work in May. Started PT through Valley Health while working. Anyway, something broke while doing PT four days later I couldn't walk at all on my left. Go to orthopedic they send me home for an entire month to just no weight bearing. Go back to see them on July 20th, plate and screws are all messed up. Tell me I'm going to have surgery on this Friday or Monday. Get the call now it is another week away! Really!? I'm very disappointed in my care!
I had a bad fall at home and fractured my right shoulder. The ER doctor informed me that Dr Brown "the orthopedic specialist " had been called to see me. This doctor never showed up, instead his PA came to see me. I was in extreme pain and was send home in an oversize sling and instructions to follow up with this dr brown in one week. I was not given any home care instructions, only to follow up with this doctor who didn't have the time to come see me and instead send his PA. Dr. Brown was called to Winchester ER by the attending Dr. Wm Rayoff who was outstanding, treating me for a fractured and dislocated right shoulder. Dr. Browns presence was a welcome surprise to a very painful stituation. He repositioned my should, I was sedated and he did a wonderful pain free job. His expertise is just excellent. His follow up care was just as wonderful, his kindness, honesty and care was so very much-appreciated. I am blessed to have such a dedicated and professional doctor treating me.
