I had by far the worst experience at Broward Health Children's Emergency Room. I brought my 12 week old son to have lab work done and to be checked, at the recommendation of my pediatrician. Not only did the ER Doctor never check my sons ears, but they kept saying that his blood was coagulating and were unable to get a CBC test done. I was there a total of 6 hours with a 12 week old baby and received a $500 bill. The next day I went to my pediatrician and the second he looked in my sons ears he saw he had an ear infection. My partner is waiting on tests to be done. No drs are talking to each other. The surgery he needs needs to be done today and now we are being told we have to wait. This is unexceptionable. I’ll be planning my partners funeral before it’s taken care of.
October 6 at 22:48 I arrived to the ER with extreme pain on my back rib area and explain I had fallen. After an X-Ray, a Percocet and $100 deductible I was told there was nothing wrong just a back contusion. My pain continued for which reason I went to my doctor October 7th to discovered I had an acute facture at the posterior lower right rib cage 10th and 11th rib. RecommendedMy son went in for a emergency appendectomy. The attention he got from Coral Springs Broward Health was remarkable. I don’t understand why this hospital has bad reviews 😕 I found it to be outstanding!
Some of there staff are terribly rude. If a person has anxiety, and heart palpitations.. you do not tease them...
