Went here for the Mardi Gras event and got the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was ice cold. The sauce and meatball were just ok, but it felt like the workers didn’t really care about the event.
I have been getting pasta from here for years, I work down the street. All the handmade pastas are fantastic. I've tried almost all the sauces over the years, also fantastic. Today I bought a manicotti and it was absolutely delicious! If you're looking for something quick to make for dinner or you just want a very good handmade pasta, ravioli, or manicotti, come here it is AMAZING! I'm a long time fan of this place and don't know why I didn't make a review sooner.
Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Another man and I were waiting there for 5 minutes while the cashier just stood there and looked at us. We went up to him at the register and he still didn’t help us and ended up helping someone else. We asked him a quick question about what was in one of the deserts and he was so blunt and rude about it. They weren’t busy at all so there was no need for the hostility. We just left after that.
Stopped by the market and picked up some mushroom fettuccine from Bouchard’s. I’ve never tried it before. It was amazing - so good highly recommend.
Bouchard bakery and pasta has made the first perfect tiramisu I’ve ever bought at a store. You can taste that they use real mascarpone in their zabaglione cream and they don’t leave the lady fingers dry, perfectly soaked and soft. Usually I don’t like coconut flakes either but their coconut pound cake was impeccably moist and tender, it’s hard to find something that isn’t dry and crumbly but they knocked it out of the park with this. I ate it without even adding anything on top.
