Great food! Just need to increase the fry servings
Brothers is a wonderful family-owned restaurant that has been around for decades. It is nestled in the heart of Sandwich, Illinois right on route 34. I've been coming to Brother's since 1989 and it has always been a place to meet up with friends and family and just have a good meal. We stopped in while we were looking for a diner to try. The signage "Home Of The Beef Roll" pulled us in. This place is a quaint hidden gem. It is TRULY family owned,Dad, Mom, and 4 kids (adult'ish) running the entire place! The Beef Roll is DELICIOUS, my son loved his Gyros Roll, my grandson at almost all of his pizza off the kids menu and an order of fries, the Goofy Bread (calzone) was a typical. Traveling through Sandwich, we saw the sign “home of the beef roll”.. if a restaurant is the home of something, you got to try it.. Definitely worth the stop. A fantastic beef sandwich, fresh homemade bread. Try it with some of the homemade tzatziki sauce too. Everything was yum, service was great, very attentive. Even learned a little history of the place. Stop here, it’s worth it!
The beef roll was really good! Unfortunately, everything else - hot beef, french onion soup, and fries were bland. Good and quick service.
