Do not use them whatever you do. I am an out of town owner of a historical house in Downtown Charleston. While out of town Chris Powers quoted a price of $26k to paint my house, but after 6 change orders my total expense came to 48k. A change order for painting? I didn’t find any wood siding replaced like they claimed. Further they did absolutely NO prep work. Zero. Painted over old paint. 1 star is far too many for these fraudsters. I am an out of town owner of a historic home in Downtown Charleston. I hired Chris Powers of Brothers Builders and Restoration for $48,000 to repaint my home at 120 Smith St. He in turn hired an inexpensive, unlicensed company to do the work for a lesser amount. They did absolutely no prep work. Zero. Because of that I have to hire another company a lot of money to correct the problems.
