Ive been going here since i was first diagnosed in 2011, mostly my experience has been good/positive until recently. Its not even all the center but where they moved to and i was forced into without fanfair, care or regard! They moved to Binghamton General and their new support staff and host location are COMPLETE SHIT! Its no longer care its a chore and dread to go the extra distance to walk a block in an unsafe area to be treated like a inmate inside... Why This "Bullshit" Setup for Oncology Anyway? What I'd like to see at broome oncology is a variety sandwiches in the morning and at lunch time and a variety of chips or maybe a buffet plate for a large group of people that includes meats :cheeses and condiments with rolls and fresh fruits and vegetables as well
What about having a year round Christmas tree in the area where people get chemotherapy. It would be nice to look st and lift moods and add brightness to the unit
I am a woman of color, currently receiving care from a cancer specialist at the Johnson’s City, NY office. I have experienced poor treatment from both the front desk and medical staff on various occasions throughout my visits. I've already brought up this issue with the doctor and the office manager three times. During one of the visits, I was degraded and humiliated by the phlebotomist in front of patients and staff. If it wasn't for them I would not be alive today! They told me in 8 mths is be gone.threw chemotherapy every other week and one to bring home for a couple days did it.No cancer.They cared about me I was alone scared and so depressed I just kept my head up and said I'm going to fight this alone I did and didn't the nurses there are incredible I would tell anyone to go.there in was surely amazed with the care there and treatment and oh almost forgot my Doc was the best Dr.Lee amazing man the all.....sonja
