As a 30 year Qld health employee I have had the privilege of working with a number of front line teams. Requiring care myself the other evening I observed the Broome ED team manage a RFDS vehicle v live stock collision (single occupant) then a Code Blue and my tummy issues all with professionalism ,caring and effectiveness. I'm sure an on call radiologist would fast track the need to send CT scans to Perth for interpretation and negate the two hour turnaround and would help staff greatly.
Very fair stuff
I came in last night when going into my first ever anaphylactic episode. I just want to say a big thank you to the team that handled me, you guys were great. The ED staff and doctors all showed such genuine care and treated me with the most respect and kindness. I wish I could say I’ll be back, but I hope I won’t. Thank you!

Had to attend due to unexpected health problem. The place was quiet and clean. Staff were fabulous. Solved any admin problem. Several different patient challenges that appeared while I was there were handled with care and sensitivity. Fabulous ED! Best I have ever visited.
