Not a good selection of glasses and they are locked so you can't try them on. Then they demanded that I either get my eyes dilated or pay extra for some new scan that I don't need! I've never been forced to dilate ever before. Won't be getting my business.
Just left this establishment. Not sure if Hannah is having a bad day but I’ve never experienced someone treat me the way she did today. She accused me of taking pictures which I was not doing at all. I proceeded to inform her I was not taking pictures. She then rudely said I saw you taking pictures. I then asked if she would like to see my photo album due to her accusing me of something I absolutely did not do so we could proceed with trying to get my child some glasses. My visit to Broome family eye care was a great experience. The staff are courteous, kind, and helpful. The building and equipment were clean. I saw both Dr. Broome and Dr. Steele. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. The opticians were also wonderful. They were patient, courteous and helped me through the process of picking new glasses and customizing the lenses. I really wanted to love this place, I really did! The staff was friendly, the facility is clean, the doctor is pleasant. In fact, I left saying it was such a great appointment. Little did I know that was the start of my 1 month long nightmare! Let me be clear and say the ONLY reason I went in was because my prescription was expired and I needed to order new contacts. When a customer specifically asks what fees they are going to incur, and you tell them a $10 exam fee and a $40 contact fitting fee and they REPEAT it back to you ok so $50. Don’t be surprised when they are ticked and refuse to pay your lil hidden fee you snuck in and never once mentioned. Receptionists even looked up insurance and said $50 for both exam fees. But after the exam you claim ohh the extra $35 is bc your eyes were complicated and mono vision has a fee to be fitted ….. that’s not Good Business that’s called scamm... read more
