Would also give a zero if I could. Our house is a complete disaster. The basement floods, the ceiling leaks, we have stained tile, and showers that don't even have enough slope to drain properly. Broome Builders will destroy your life. Worst experience of my life. The quality is horrific and the customer service is a nightmare. There are no words for the type of evil and greed that run in David Broome's veins.
Apparently this business has closed and count your blessings you never hired this crook. We had hired him to build our dream home and then it turned into our worst nightmare. We had a lien for $164,000.00 on our home even though we paid him in full plus our $67,000.00 deposit. Apparently many others were screwed as well. David Broome, I hope you rot in hell.
If I could put a zero as a rating I would. Be careful – because even though Broome Builders of the Carolina's is showing they are out of business – they still are getting building permits and they have an associate by the name of Jeff Jernigan and Carolina Custom Living LLC. He goes under several business names, so I would be very careful who you choose as your builder. We initially signed contracts with David Broome of Broome Builders of the Carolina.
