I bought this pit cooked pork thinking it may be ok, its better pork than 3/4 of the top rated barbecue restaurants ive eaten at.
My husband has eaten a Brookwood farms BBQ sandwich at least three times a week, but he said that this will be the last day and it's the same story filled with fat gristle and burnt barbecue pieces. Goodbye Brookwood farms!!!
Have been a customer for over 11-years purchasing Brookwood at Ingles, Publix and Walmart. Prefer the flavor pictured over Curley's and Lloyd's brands, as well as several local sit down BBQ establishments here in Middle-Georgia. Also have enjoyed the sliced and sauced briskets. All good quality, flavor, texture at a competitive price. We prepare ours slow warmed in a covered skillet vice the microwave served with sticky Jasmine rice - the tangy sauce goes well with the rice! I want to say I love your Barbecue first time buying. I checked out 3 different ones, one being the Brookwood farms brand , Walmart brand looked dry another brand had what appeared to be mostly bbq sauce and then I opened the lid on yours and it appeared moist and no bbq sauce and that way I could put some with it.I went home and and put some bbq sauce in some in a bowl and heated it up and made bbq sandwiches it was delicious with some chips on the side.
