My dog, Chloe, all of a sudden couldn't stand up, and it was a Friday. The vet I used was always hard to get a hold of and didn't answer their phone. It is hard to get anyone local vet to see a pet quickly on a Friday. You normally have to drive an hour to urgent/emergency care, but they answered right away and happened to have Saturday hours that week, so they fit her in the next morning.
