If I could give a lower rating I would but 1 star is the lowest. To say dealing with the developer of Brookview Terraces at Bracken Ridge was the worst experience in our lives is an understatement. Right from the start it was just a nightmare. Kept getting pushed out months and months. The blame game started. The people that are hurt are the poor buyers no empathy from the developer at all. Wow : this entire development has been riddled with broken promises through my 2 years . Many purchases like me had to put up with massive increases in pricing from what we originally signed up for . It was a case of accept the new price up to + 75 K or pay $3.5 K so he can promote your property on RE . Dot com or wait until your sunset clause is up & then you can get out of your contract & get your deposit back . I am not even sure if this is legal : would love for a current affair to investigate this developer Brian Boyd .... read more
Absolutely terrible experience with the developer. Thankfully we could terminate the contract with nil loss. Stay away from Brian and Co.
Untrustworthy! In May 2022, we purchased a property at Brookview Terraces, however; during nearly 3 years communications received are just emails notifying delays attributed to the post-COVID situation, labor shortages, market conditions, and builder-related issues. In February 2024, we were informed that our agreement had reached the sunset date, and to continue in the project we were offered to sign a new agreement and agree to a price increase of $135,000 also pay an additional $500 for retyping the agreement.
