I have been with this practice for nearly 24 years. It did have some issues after the covid pandemic. However, in recent years this service has greatly improved their triage online service is excellent. I've had no issues trying to see a gp, I have regular reviews. All the GPS are thorough and very professional. Also the nursing team are helpful and informative.

Brookvale Practice is without a doubt the worst surgery I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Over the 10 years I’ve been a patient here, they have shown time and time again to be inept, incompetent and seem oblivious to their duty of care. They can’t be bothered to see patients, instead they try to bounce you off somewhere else. Add to that, their doctors cant even seem to be able to read medical notes correctly. 3-weeks ago i ordered a repeat prescription for my mother using the patient access system. I regularly kept checking the the patient access system for a status update, to see the repeat prescription was awaiting authorisation by a GP. I've also called the GP reception to find if there was some problem, only to be told the prescrption was awaiting GP authorisation. As my mother has a serious health problem at the moment i called the GP reception to get an emergency appointment. I was told they cant make these appointments ove... read more

Awful practice, badly run, worst service I've ever encountered on the NHS, impossible to get an appointment they even refuse to see seriously ill children and babies. Pathetic protocols that will seriously harm patients. You're not even allowed to call them for an appointment and they refuse to book appointments past the week you are calling in and will tell you to their online contact form again the next week ( which is only open between 7am and 10am, after that you are screwed and forced to attend a hospital) and then agai... read more
