Best Possible Care and Boarding We have brought our pets to Brookside for over 12 years for veternary and boarding services and have always been well pleased with the staff and the vet. services. We have regular preventative care for all of our pets, surgeries for two of them, and boarding for all of them for up to two weeks. The pets are fed to our instructions, even down to the prefered treats. They are walked frequently and the dogs are bathed before we pick them up. Incompetent and Dangerous I would avoid this hospital at all costs. I am a long time hobby dog breeder and trainer and went in there to check out the facility and meet the vets before deciding to take my dogs there. The facility is a little junky looking when you first arrive, but better places have looked worse, and I wanted to give it a shot. I should have just turned around. HA Staff seem like they don't know anything related to the field. I've taken my pets to a wonderful vet in the town I used to live in but I moved to Cedar Falls due to my job... the hospital that my animals used to go to had REAL vet techs that knew what they were doing with my pets. Why would you trust your pet to someone that has no educational training in the field... you wouldn't want a person that was "trained on the job" to be your nurse while you are in the hospital or while you are in surgery, so why your pet.
