The location was perfect for our stopover on the way to Banff—just off the highway. The room was spotless, including the sparkling clean bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We stayed in the Secret Garden room, which had a cozy balcony with a lovely vineyard view. The room also had a kettle, mini fridge, and air conditioning, though we preferred keeping the window slightly open for fresh night air. Well, this was a big disappointment to us. We were looking forward to a getaway and for the money, this didn't measure up. The hotel is for sale and it felt to us that the owners were tired and the details showed a lack of care. We were "upgraded" to a room that was not so much to our liking and would have preferred the room we booked. The mattress was past it's best-before date and we moved to the sofa bed in the middle of the night. We wanted to shower, but chose not to because it was moldy and didn't seem clean. Great place to stay. Large rooms, and easy check-in. Breakfast was a nice continental included in our stay. Owners were very nice. Would definitely recommend this place. I would love to see the view in the summer.

What more can be said. A quiet and comfortable place to stay with an exceptional host. Would love to stay here again!
