UPDATE- after listening to the concerns of parents the arena has updated their policy, allowing our athletes to bring in adequate items in order to properly fuel and hydrate. Thank you for taking our concerns into consideration and ensuring the health of our student athletes. Awful. We have a state wrestling tournament there in a week and they are keeping our wrestlers from proper nutrition and hydration. Highly disappointed with the recent changes LIMITING athletes on what nutrition they will allow in their venue for the LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. To think these kids are only allowed 1 drink, 1 fruit only 1 other item is absolute insanity. These kids compete A L L dang day. They have worked all season to prepare for this one event!
