The owner is from India. The facility is ran down. No wonder the place has bad reviews. I would recommend going elsewhere.
Worked here for a good few months and was surprised to see when state showed up my responsibilities changed. Turns out state ended up staying for over 8 days due to multiple safety concerns. Some concerns were due to food violations. Pay ranged over staff and we were told we were not allowed to discuss pay which is against the law. The owner and old white male is stuck up and judgmental. I moved into this facility around Oct. 15. The “floor” staff is wonderful! They are what keeps this place running, they are truly concerned about the Residents and do everything possible to keep them safe and well. I cannot praise them highly enough. Having said that, i cannot say one thing good abour the management here. For 2-3 days, there’s been NO WATER, NONE, for flushing, showering, NOTHING. On top of that, the food here is HORRIBLE. The staff is wonderful with my mom. This is the best retirement community in Lawton. It's very nice. The only issue is the food. It needs improvement and they are working on it. They are very attentive to my mothers suggestions on improvement. They hired a diabetic dietician too.
