My second grade daughter was struggling with reading accuracy and fluency so our school recommended we consider a Brooklyn Letters tutor to give her additional support outside of school. I could not recommend Dr. Reem more; she was incredibly instrumental in aiding our son's speech development and building his confidence. He LOVED his sessions with her - and she built his skills in a sustainable way that helped him grow consistently over time. She was also incredibly communicative, shared simple tactics and tools to practice at home, and worked closely with us to build his protocol. I have had a positive experience with Ailleen. She has always been patient, kind, professional, and caring during her sessions with my daughter. She created a comfortable environment that helped my daughter participate and stay engaged. Since starting speech therapy, I have noticed some improvement in my daughter’s communication. Julie has been a wonderful speech therapist for two of my children. Despite their different ages, personalities and speech needs, she kept each of them engaged and always found ways to make sessions fun. Her patience, persistence, and encouragement made all the difference, and we heard some encouraging progress over time. Best of all, my kids were always excited to see her.
