I visited Brooklyn Donuts in Chatswood for my birthday treat and was a little disappointed that the birthday gift options were limited to just the original glaze or cinnamon donut. I also felt a bit of pressure when the staff kept encouraging me to buy a drink, even though I don’t drink sweet beverages and had already had my coffee. That said, the staff were friendly, and the donuts looked amazing with lots of variety. Omg the donut was divine, beats the competitors hands down. Also the staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend.
Store closed at 8:30pm on Thursday even though hours say open until 9pm. Disappointing.
Was lining up for free donut on the international donut day and it didn’t take long for me to get my free original glazed donut. The staff were attentive to customers’ orders despite the overwhelming orders. I loved the texture of their donut. It was so soft and flavorful though the glaze was a tad too sweet to my liking. Would love to come back again to try other donuts.
Chose Brooklyn Chatswood for a quick coffee break today. If only the attitude of the senior staff member matched the coffee. . . Which was nice (the coffee). Confrontation, attitude, curt and decidedly insincere ‘have a nice day’ . . . With a wincing smile (Gen Y have perfected that). She transferred her apparent ‘bad day’ onto me. But. . .
