The food was average overall, with the ghee masala dosa being the only highlight. I also tried the thatte idli and filter coffee, and they were okay. The biggest issue, however, was the extremely poor handling of customers’ time. I stood in line for over 2 hours, and even after placing my order, I had to wait another 30 minutes. What really frustrated me was seeing the chef take side orders from people at the back while everyone else had been patiently waiting in line. I went to their stall in the smorgasbourg in prospect park. The food was good, I had the ghee masala dosa and chili oil cheese dosa. Firstly I stood in the line for more than an hour. After ordering i waited for another 40 minutes and what really pissed me off was that the chef was taking side orders at the back and disrespecting all those people waiting in the line. One of the best places for South Indian (Karnataka) food in NYC. Every dish is perfect and worth the wait. Bring a friend to enjoy the time in line too. Owners Shwetha and Venkat are really great people.
