UPDATE 04/13/2026: Ryan (owner) offered a very generous olive branch to mend the situation, which is very much appreciated. Brooklyn Bicycle Co makes excellent bikes and as a result of how Ryan ultimately handled our disagreement, I would not hesitate to purchase another bike from him. -Maurice

It seems that Ryan Zagata always has a sassy/snarky response to critical reviews, regardless of what the customer is saying, so that should tell you everything you need to know about this company if you're reading this. Judging by his response to my last review, it seems he can't comprehend what I said. I bought the Bedford WELL before the pandemic - not during - so there goes that excuse you tried to give about lacking proper response times. Re-writing my review because the response to the first one was unnecessary. Firstly, I prefer to shop online, so that is what I did when it came to looking for a bike from this company. As I said in my original review, they have great bikes and customer service, minus the fact that one too many of their items showed up as available but were really on back order.
