My experience has unfortunately been consistent with most if not all of the 1-star reviews, found a leak from exterior shortly after purchasing new build and have been working with Brookfield for 2 years now on repairs that just can't seem to stop the water from coming in when it rains. They continue to try but this has been exceptionally disruptive to the living conditions and we have not been given any durable off ramp for what happens if they can't fix it.
Bought a brookfield, newly built townhouse in 2016. Roof started leaking about 7 months after purchase. Brookfield came out and supposedly fixed it. 3 years later, leak came back. Found out from 4 other roofing companies that Brookfield never fixed the leak, they just slapped on a ton of caulk. Home repairs due to poor construction have been a substantial burden. Do not recommend for a builder.
Poorly built houses backed by even worse customer service. There is a reason they have so many 1 star reviews, don't ignore them.
Staff is professional and friendly. Aside from that I can not provide positive feedback for Brookfield. I feel like their subcontractors do not have the skill set and do not care about the build. A lot of sloppy work. Shower leaked from poor tile work (based on certified plumber) and caused subfloor damage and mold. We have had issues since the build.
