I was there today with my son and was told it was mandatory to have a mask. While I do not wear masks due to my personal preference. They were selling them and I asked her where the money goes when she sells the masks and she wouldn’t tell me where the money goes. Does anyone know where that money goes or do they pocket it? I wouldn’t have purchased a mask but if she said the money is donated to a specific organization I would have donated money hands down. I really hope they do donate the money they gain from selling masks.
Business response:
Masks are available at the market entrance for those who have not brought one. We ask for a donation & the proceeds are used to purchase more masks for future patrons. Donations are not mandatory.
I haven’t been to Brookfield farmers market in a while. It’s got to be at least a year and a half. Was not disappointed. Good selection. Lots of space. People wearing masks. I’ll be back.

For some reason they think soap is non-essential
I think it is absurd that you will not allow a natural soap vendor in your market anymore after she has been selling her products there for twenty years because you think her products are non-essential.
