Dr. Harmssen is the only attentive MD at Adventist. She shows up, she listens and she cares. Love her!!
Dr. Harmssen is a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) rather than an MD. Regardless of the degree distinction, her bedside manner is rigid and impersonal. While I do not question her knowledge of protocols, she was far too bureaucratic, instead of being patient-centered and individualized in her approach to care.

Dr. Harmssen is not an “MD” but a “DO” (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) - I am not sure how the training differs, but she is currently ill qualified to handle patient care. DR. HARMSSEN is DANGEROUS, UNTRUSTWORTHY and an affront to her profession. She’s the author of an egregious error on my medical records. Her account of a conversation we had is mendacious and harmful to me, with the potential to have life and death consequences. She refuses to remove her lies.
