My dad's been there since early Feb. So far, we feel his care has been good, he enjoys the food, and his apt is kept clean. I've spoken with a number of residents there and they all seem happy. Since the Covid crisis we've not been able to visit him, which has been frustrating, but understandable. They seem to be doing all they can to keep the virus out of the facility.

My friend has lived there 5-6 years.. She says the place has gone down hill. No one can stay full time !!! The price goes up ,but care goes down!!!! I visit every wee and notice mouse droppings and her room is not clean. She is supposed to get two showers a week and her bathroom is not clean and trash is not taken. Today ,I saw a CNA not doing a thing for these peoples. We will be moving her as soon as possible!!!!

This place is a joke. I was hired PRN and told that when I had good attendance after 3p days I would be offered a full time position. I have been there every day scheduled. Instead of offering their already hired employees to fill the full time shift, they hired someone else and basically told me I didn't have a job. As for residents care, the associates that I worked with on days most of them were great, but 1 of the 2 are leaving. This place is very much understaffed. Terrible place to work, the staff is very rude. Pretty much all of them have nasty attitudes you may come across a few that are nice,compassionate and understanding. If you want your parents respected and well taken care of please do not send them to Brookdale Western Hills.
