This place is awful.. Debbie Lopez and her Dining staff can't seem to get their heads out of thier rears long enough to give decent service.. Disappointing..
My mother was very happy here. The staff made it easy for her to transition from a single family home to assisted living. She was treated with respect and dignity. She especially liked the various activities and sitting out on the front porch in the glorious weather. Brookdale Ventana Canyon was small enough to feel intimate but large enough for meeting a variety of people both residents and staff.
This place is the worst. They don't answer the phone and the inmates sit around like vegetables. They are short-staffed; I called the other day and their was only one nurse for the entire facility. Even their family liaison has left. They make all kinds of claims about what they will do for clients, then don't follow through.
Excellent concerned and caring staff. I highly recommend. Tess
