First off, I am a disabled veteran I am nearly 65 years old. I lived at Brookdale for nearly 3 years and paid them on time every single month. On November 6th they had a main water break and had to evacuate everyone from their apartments. I fell out of my wheelchair during the flooding and was badly injured and have been in the hospital nearly two months at the veterans hospital here in Albuquerque. My grandma lives here and the quality has drastically changed in the past year- which is reflected by other google reviews. I never write reviews, but my grandma deserves so much better than this.They recently changed their kitchen staff/management and since then the food has smelled spoiled, been too overcooked for the residents to chew, causing diarrhea, and now visitors are asked to pay $20 if they want to dine with their family members.
