This place chooses to drug its residents rather than provide them with an active, stimulating environment! Their bottom line is to make money. To be admitted they charge a two thousand dollar amenities fee for basically no amenities. The people are so drugged they don't even talk to each other while sitting in groups. The only activity is bingo which is run by a resident there!

My mother has lived at this "Sterling House"/Brookdale of Tequesta for over 5 years. While nothing is perfect, I believe she has been well cared for while residing there. The staff is competent, caring and knowledgeable. They exhibit patience and concern in their day to day responsibilities. I would be confident recommending this facility to anyone.

I visited this facility for my Mom,It seemed ok & I had them evaluate her,they found her suitable and she moved in august this year.the 1st couple of weeks she did well and received ample attention from the staff.They hired what turned out to be an incompetent individual to manage the facility and it was down hill from there.The facility is understaffed,rooms are not cleaned regularly,food leaves a lot to be desired,after 2 miserable month,I over my Mom to a different facility,it took a few weeks for her to adjust but she is... read more
