I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful leadership of Derald, ED & Marie, RN They lead a team that cares passionately about their residents and I am honored to share numerous residents with them. It is with deep concern and disappointment that I write this review. My family entrusted this facility with the care of my mother, expecting professionalism, compassion, and respect. Unfortunately, our experience has been far from that standard. Despite multiple requests that staff refrain from wearing cologne and perfume—due to my mother’s documented respiratory issues—these accommodations have not been honored. I don’t know where to begin but the bottom line is this place is abysmal from a management perspective. They have destroyed lives, the mental health, and the joy from their own employees. The interoffice politics, the childish gossip and backstabbing, down to the inability to provide basic compassion for their team is beyond the pale. The person or people caring for your family member are always on the brink of disaster and have likely been threatened with their job in the last 48 hours.
