While navigating the bus system for the first time with a toddler and stroller, I was close to tears as there was no place to put the stroller. A young man wearing his Brookdale uniform got out of his seat to help me. When it came apparent that no matter what we did, there was no way to store the stroller, he said to not worry, he got it. For the remainder of the trip, he stood in the back door bus area and held onto that stroller for me, without hesitation. They were ok at first but I feel that they do not care for their patients. They consistently changed staff and really did not take care of the seniors well. I do not recommend this place for any family.

We had a hurtful pre-screening experience at this Brookdale. No one's parent should be treated this way. Although my mom is living at another Brookdale, apparently she wasn't a "good fit" for this one. It had nothing to do with her health or finances. And, the Sales Director spoke very negatively about one of the other Brookdale communities. An unbelievable experience.

Seemed like a very nice place until our lives were turned UPSIDE DOWN!!! The STAFF mishandled my 83 year old mother and broke her leg, YES broke her leg. Had her Admitted to emergency, two weeks in hospital, over a month in rehabilitation and THEN, she was EVICTED from Brookdale and we had to find another home. THOUSANDS of dollars later and now monthly expenses that are almost double what they were!! Go ahead, consider Brookdale. My father has been a resident at Brookdale South Regal for nine months now. My sisters and I, and more importantly my Dad, are very happy with the living quarters, the caring and humorous staff, the menu selections and food and care my father receives from the staff. He has made friends, goes to mass once in a while and we can reserve a large dining room for family "get-together". We visited several other sites, but without a doubt, this was the best choice.
