very beautiful place, but lacks the help. not enough staff lots of negligence
Awful! The staff bullies the residents and takes it upon themselves to change thier medications. They run out of prescriptions on a regular basis and are slow to refill. Food is either uncooked or way overcooked. They make promises to improve, but it always goes back to the bad behaviors. Safety systems do not work and are not monitored. Too much to say, just find another place.
I dont know how many times this facility has changed hands, but it seems to have deteriorated since my friends parents were placed there. The mom has since died and the dad has been observed by his daughter wearing the same trousers he had on several days earlier (now soiled when he could not make it to the bathroom). urns out he has a broken bone in his foot.
Patient care is good. They regularly bathe the residents and have scheduled activities. An excellent choice for day to day care comparably. There have been problems there with the Medication Administration Records of the staff either not giving a medication and writing that they did or taking the medication out and not writing it down. Granted that this happens at almost everywhere you go to a certain extent, the management of this seems to be a little fraudulant. Otherwise, a very good place. Brighton Gardens is a very safe place for assisted living... All of their employees are First Aid and CPR certified by the American Red Cross...
