I was invited to a rebranding event and given a tour by Katarzyna Olczak. Everyone was very welcoming, very kind staff. I was introduced to a few of the staff members and residents ambassadors, very lovely people . I also met a gentleman that was playing violin and made the atmosphere even more wonderful. Working with Kat was such a great experience. She’s very patient, and truly cares about the people she works with. Her tours are thoughtful and informative, and she’s great at answering questions and making sure you feel confident in your decisions. The community she represents is also wonderful, very active, friendly, and a place where your loved one can really feel at home. Highly recommend!
We recently moved my mom from Tucson, AZ to San Marcos. In December 2025, she and I toured several north county senior homes and she chose Marbella because it was a nice facility and because she liked the residents we met during the tour. During the pre-move period, the Marbella staff (especially Kat and Marissa) were great in explaining, laying out and tracking all the administrative items that we had to complete. This is a very vibrant and active community with something going on every day. The residents are friendly and social, which makes it easy to feel a sense of connection and belonging. There’s a great outdoor space, including one of the largest courtyards in a senior living community in San Diego County, and a gardening club that’s really well attended as well as heated pool. Overall, it’s a welcoming place that offers a lot while still being budget friendly.
We recently visited this assisted living community while exploring options for my mom, and I honestly could not have been more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive. The environment felt warm, comfortable, and very well cared for, which immediately gave us peace of mind.
