What a whirlwind the last year this has been for me and my family! My mother was placed in memory care a year ago , Hated that place , the care and standards were terrible it was dank and dirty , But, We were locked into a lease agreement which was a nightmare.. Finnaly it ended in April of this year and we moved my mom to Anchor Bay pocassett.. The difference is apparent the minute you walk in the door ! I have a friend who moved in last fall, she has had trouble with her heat since shortly after moving in, it is now January and they still haven't addressed the problem!!! All they do is say they are getting to it. For the price these residents are charged....they should be so ashamed! And the problem is, the elderly are afraid to get staff mad and then really get poor treatment. So sad. I would never let a loved one live like that. And, the elevators break down frequently also... they have three floors! They are simply all a... read more
