This place is totally horrible. My mom was here for 3 years. They do not do what you pay them for. You pay extra for certain things to be done and they do not do them. Special instructions are not relayed shift to shift. There is no communication. They don't seem to care what the families have to say. In fact, they RESENT you questioning being an advocate for your family member. Once the resident passes away they throw away any mail coming in. They promised to hold the mail but they don't. This place is horrific I have never seen a turn over rate so bad aids come and literally leave within a couple days ..Al left unattended constantly staff constantly talking about sexual relationships in front of the residence huge arguments to the point of almost fights …People leaving shifts never returning to watch the residence…Not to mention how filthy it is in memory care mold all in the kitchen trash can nasty counters full of dirt silverware filthy ..Management sleeping with staff it’s constantly talked about on the f... read more

My parents were at Brookdale from December 2016 until my mother passed away December 2023. Over that time, I had an outstanding relationship with the staff and management. Both of my parents were in good hands. The staff was cheerful, polite, and easy to talk with concerning their care. The facility is well maintained, and there were plenty of activities. Everyone here has been great from Top Management, Nursing, Activities Director, Director of Maintenance, Director of Food management.Health Aides, Housekeeping. If, anyone has a problem talk to Management. Management will help in any way they can. Top Management comes to our Condo , to help us in our time of Need. Money was not discussed. They cared. My mother stayed at Brookdale Pinnacle from 4/5/23 to 4/28/23, a total of 25 days at a agreed rate of $304.75 per day. In fact, the original rate was $251 however it was increased to include a community fee (a fee charged to permanent residents). Therefore total invoice should have been $7,618.75. So why did I receive a invoice for $26,143.49 that included month of May?
