I must tell you that while I've performed at many assisted living facilities in San Antonio, I really do get a bang out of performing for the residents at Brookdale Nacogdoches. The staff is great, and the setting for my show is intimate. Today my duo partner and I sang "Sugar Moon" for Sugar the house dog. And the audience loved it. And we really loved the interaction they gave us on songs such as "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," "Hey, Good Lookin'" and "A White Sport Coat." We'll be back Nov. 1. Mark your calendar!
They are so compassionate and caring to their residents! My mom loves it!
