If you're looking for a community that feels like home, Brookdale may be the place for you. Over the years Home Instead has cared for Clients safely at home for as long as possible. Many times we've helped Clients transition to Brookdale Assisted Living or Memory Care, when staying at home was no longer an option. Thank you Brookdale for being a community for trusted care. I encourage anyone to call Jill and set up a tour. Jill is a wealth of knowledge and has the heart for helping Seniors find their way "home".
They lose medication. They discontinue medication without doctor's approval. They are staffed the bare minimum state standards. The food is slop. If you call them out on their errors, they send a letter threatening that you will be banned from visiting your loved one! They are not concerned if your loved one pulls the cord (alarm) the morning after being in the hospital and no one shows up for 5 minutes. My husband was in memory care and received such kind, patient care. Not only was the MC staff outstanding, but throughout the facility, staff was warm, helpful and efficient! This was an excellent choice for memory care!
