We just moved my parents from Clare Bridge and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. Front desk receptionists are wonderful but that’s where my positive comments end. Please visit other faclities and take comfort in knowing you have other options available to you rather than Brookdale. This place is beyond awful.
Before it was "Brookdale" it was OK. I don't know what happened but when it was branded the care/everything went downhill. They charge for everything and once they deem a service necessary (if only it is once) it is never taken off the monthly fee and they retro charge too. I am so very impressed with Brookdale Senior Living of Minnetonka! My first impression was the beautiful setting among trees and nature. The sweeping driveway was beckoning me to go inside the lovely yet homey residence. I loved that it was set back from Carlson Parkway which provided a serenity that my parents needed so badly. This place is deplorable. Nothing more than a warehouse for bodies - no interaction with "staff", no ability-appropriate activities for residents, no engagement of any kind - people just sit at the tables in silence while the staff plays on their phones or picks their nails. Heaven help you if you are a resident requiring help with feeding - you WILL go hungry.
