My parents spent the last two years of their lives at Haslett Pointe (mostly when it was Brookdale Sr. Living), and it was perfect for them. It's a small enough facility to feel intimate, with small dining areas (easier to hear), and lovely landscaping which attracted critters my parents loved to watch & feed. The staff, including management, was attentive & caring, and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely live there if I needed to!
My loved one received good care and attention. The residence was clean and well cared for-no weird cooking smells. Communication and follow through by the staff was sometimes lacking.
Our entire experience has been excellent. The staff has been kind, caring, and understanding and my elderly parent has been comfortable with what we thought would be a traumatic change. Would definitely choose Brookdale again. It has lifted a huge weight from my shoulders.
