Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mom has made several friends there and is enjoying that very much. They have a lunch outing every Thursday, some sort of live entertainment and refreshments every Friday afternoon, church services on Sunday afternoon, and occasionally an evening outing. Mom has been on several of the lunch outings and one evening outing to see a play. She says she really has a good time when she goes. Overall we have been very happy with Brookdale. It is a nice facility. My loved one has a nice room facing the courtyard. They have allowed her to have her dog with her which makes a huge difference. Staff are friendly and helpful in answering questions and helping her get settled. Periodically they have checked in to see that things are going well.
Brookdale Kingsley memory care unit was simply amazing with our 100 year old father. On his 100th birthday they actually put on a huge celebration and we were all so touched. Patty and her caregiving staff treated all of our family with kindness and compassion every single day. He even fell in love with the facility and staff even though he very much did not want to give up his independence. He did not just survive but actually thrived. We could not be more pleased. These people are angels on Earth❤️
The corporation needs to pays its front line patient care workers better . The turnover is ridiculous. They, at corporate, need to have better meals that have a healthier diet. The people in the facility are very nice.
My mother moved to Brookdale Kingsley in February of 2024. I had noticed that she was having aging issues and really needed assistance and to be around other people. She did very well for 6 months and loved playing bingo and going out on excursions each week. Meal times were lively and she enjoyed talking with new friends.
