Poor choice to reside. Period
Stopped by for a tour this afternoon to have a look for my mother. The staff was very friendly, the environment comfortable and cheerful. Really enjoyed meeting Daniel, he was very caring and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home.
RecommendedWe were in serious need of a healthy choice for my sister who suffered a rapid decline due to Alzheimer's disease. Andrea (Executive Director) and Oak Cottage staff answered the call. We could not be more satisfied. These folks really know what they are doing and how to do it. Our sister showed improvement immediately.

My mother has been at Oak Cottage for over a year. I love the homey atmosphere. There are animals and lots of activities. My mom can walk out of her house and there is her community. The staff genuinely cares about the residents. I went and visited a lot of places for my mother and this has been a great fit for her.. She is much calmer since she has been here. Recommended5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I am the therapy dog evaluator for Santa Barbara. I bring my Daniel and Solomon to perform and soak up some lovin’ from the wonderful residents. The atmosphere is inviting and inclusive. The staff is cheerful and very involved. It does not “feel like a facility”..... because....it is Oak Cottage!!!
