Love the fact that I am cared and respected by staff and other residents.
I have been so pleased with Brookdale, Dowlen Oaks. My father lived there for three years and he was so well cared for. He loved the staff and they treated him like family. I do not live close by and they gave me the confidence to keep my father there, rather than move him close to me. The memory care staff are amazing! I regularly recommend Brookdale, Dowlen Oaks when people ask me about a place for their loved ones.
My Aunt passed away last month after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Every single person who works in the memory care unit made the process bearable. When I was sad they were always ready with kindness and understanding and a big hug when it was needed. I cannot tell them enough how grateful I am that they were there.
The min. I walk through the door i am greated with smiles and hugs . They are family . I would not be able to leave there if I didnt think my brother was getting the best care possible , if I seem a little down they will ask if i am alright and if there is anything they can do. They are very caring. I love them
Brookdale Dowlen Oaks is an excellent care facility and treat their residents as cherished individuals. The staff's personal care and interest in the lives of the residents is to be commended. When I visit, I am treated as a valued member of the Brookdale family and know my brother is in the best place he could be at this difficult time in his life.
