Inferior repair done on couch cushion. Sewed over top of edge ribbing. I provided a pillow with the same fabric but instead of removing the damaged area and folding the edges under and sewing in the new piece of fabric they left the damaged area and made a huge patch that the sewed on top of the damaged area and folded the edges of the patch under so there is a highly visible edge to the patch job that also sticks out above the rest of the cushion.
