I cannot recommend Gemstone for anyone seeking a vibrant active assisted living community for theirfamily member. I had visited the community several times in the past so I worked with Monica by phone (I had moved out of town) to secure a unit near all the activities. My mom and brother also visited during a community event. We were told it was an active community with lots of senior activities. Unfortunately, it just wasn't true. My mom was looking for place for my grandma. We found it at end of December 2024 and it was great. The staff is nice with a great community.
Excellent facility! Under new management
My husband has been in Memory Care at Gemstone. Monica Ponce is professional, and has excellent skills in Management. She responds in a timely fashion and continues to go the extra mile to help. The new Management team, starting at the top. Have responded quickly to my concerns and continue to make improvements to the facility. Liz, head of Memory care, continues to make improvements, adding new personel,working closely with the Medical personel and the care givers. Alma, is excellent and goes beyond her job description.
