Mom has been talking about assisted living for a long time, and she kept going back to this community because she loves the location in Castle Hills. Raquel has been quite helpful with locating the best apartment for Mom, and has been patient and answered all our questions, even through the indecisiveness about which apartment to choose. Mom moves in next week and the handyman, Chase, is making sure the apartment is spotless and all systems are working. Raquel was very accommodating and answered all our questions. She knew all the answers that we had. The facility is very nice, was clean and the rooms are big there and it's very cost effective for assisted living. We actually decided to move in!!
Update…..my father in law now resides at Wholehearted Senior Living and the care by staff, Demario in particular, is unmatched. Demario’s demeanor and aura just exudes compassion and care. He’s soothing and calm. He allows my father in law to spend the morning in the dining room relaxing and having coffee even after everyone else has finished. Mom has been a resident at this facility for almost 18 months now and we have nothing but good things to say about the stay and the staff. Everyone is very gentle and caring with the residents. When mom stumbled and fell a few months back, one of the staff refused to leave her side, speaking in low calming tones to her, until the ambulance came to take her to the ER. My best friend moved in last summer - and he feels like he is living in a Resort. He loves the 3 square meals a day and the individual attention. He moved to the Memory Care unit recently - and Leighann, the on site manager, has been a God send. Any questions I might have - she addresses in a timely manner - with professionalism and just as important...with heart and caring. My dear friend is in the perfect place for the needs he has (grateful tear in my eye as I write...).
