The following is only my opinion from my experience with Brookdale Big Creek. There are residents there that seemed happy and they were part of the reason we selected it. Those people I believe needed very minimal assistance. Sales people will make you think it's a wonderful place but the employees are not wonderful. They argue with the residents and each other, talk aboutl the management, and have no sense of urgency to respond to a call. 1st time we pushed the button for help for my 90 year old Mom it took almost 30 minute... read more
Staff is always trying to fight somebody it's just horrible. The people that they employe don't care about their residents, steal from the residents. Staff is trying to fight other staff members. I don't suggest until they hire new housekeeping and serving crew
My mother lived at Brookdale Big Creek for 6 1/2 years. The director and most of the staff were consistently kind and helpful and respectful to her. The location has a really good atmosphere; it feels like a home, not an institution. People are accepted for who they are, like family. They have always been very accommodating to my mother and to me, and I am grateful.
