The staff actually care about their residents and take pride in their job. Honestly, I have zero hesitations about this facility. They are simply the best.
Called to speak with someone in administration and was hung up on. When I tried to call back no one answered the phone.
The staff at Brookdale are like extended family. They make sure the resident have what they need and they help and encourage the residents to participate in activities.
After being promised a silver platter by another memory unit, which quickly tarnished, Brookdale was a very welcome and wonderful oasis. Dawn Hussey was a God send! She listened and listened some more. With great empathy, she explained the realities of dementia progression. Dawn gave the hard facts with compassion, knowledge, and professionalism.
