It was a hard decision to leave Brook Lane because we loved living here for years! We truly wouldn’t have left if it weren’t for the fact that we purchased our first home! We are so thankful for the kindness and flexibility we experienced from the management team, and Kayla herself. I live at Brook Lane Apartments and want to warn future tenants. The property has ongoing bed bug problems that are not being handled properly. On top of that, the assistant community manager, Sharon Jones, the community manager and Kayla Dembinski have all been rude and unhelpful whenever I’ve asked for support. This has made living here extremely stressful. Tenants deserve better treatment and a safe, clean living space. I have already contacted the Ohio Department of Commerce regarding these issues. I’m moving out after two years of living at Brook Lane, and it was okay. Maintenance always responded to our requests quickly and replaced our fridge when it broke. My biggest complaints would be the staff in the leasing office not being friendly, and annoying neighbors. But that’s just going to come with living in an apartment. I have a dog in a pet friendly apartment and the people below us bang on their ceiling if my dog gets the zoomies for more than 30 seconds. Goofy and silly indeed. This was once a five star review, but since Arlington Properties took over, I have noticed a lot of decline. If you're lucky, your car will only be broken into not completely stolen like mine had. There is no security cameras to catch these thieves too. The front office will be closed for hours at a time for "lunch" their practices for renewals create a lot of problems for consistant billing. They towed my car as a visitor within 15 minutes of arrival with no visible sign or paint on the ground that displayed that I couldn’t park in the area, mind you there’s no parking assignment there either. The people in the office had no remorse and continued to gaslight me as if I was the problem. Absolutely traumatized from this.
