We have dealt with everybody from the owner to the technicians. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and on-time. Communication is great. Joe was our most recent tech and he spent a lot of time explaining in detail the operation and maintenance of our new generator. Great guy!
EDITED TO ADD- This company told me my warranty claim was denied by Kohler. So I reached out to Kohl's and they never received any correspondence from Brook field with a warranty claim on my generator. They denied it without every sending it to Kohler .. This only had 120 hours on it 😡 they do not do what's on the customers best interest. Do not use this company. I had a tech out to service a generator. When he arrived, I turned it on to demonstrate the problem, but I wasn't able to reproduce it, so there was nothing for the tech to do, and indeed no services were rendered. My generator is under warranty, which covers travel. Still, I received a bill for travel, and for services that were not performed. I called Brookfield to explain, and they responded by saying they spoke with the tech and that he had serviced the generator before I walked out of my house. ... read more
I'll just echo the other negative comments already posted. I have been a loyal customer since well before the current owner purchased the company. I'll just say trying to get a returned call is a challenge. The techs who do the work have been great, but they are employees of an incredibly poorly run business. Last year I changed my generator company and have been pleased.
Poor communication between me and the company. Between employees of the company. Poor follow up Did not honor the contract After spending 1,000s with them. Have to get another company to service the generator AVOID at all costs They did not do the annual maintenance that I paid for. In order to get a refund I had to go to the BBB. Use this company at your own peril
