They only had one price displayed at the entrance but since we didnt want to go on any rides (and I think some are closed in winter) we could have saved $6 each. Check the prices!
The largest zoo in NYC, best to take the train uptown. On Wednesday, the Zoo offer's donation entry as admission.
One nicer days, try to get to the zoo at opening. The crowds are smaller, and the animals are often more active.

La entrada es costosa pero es un zoo que merece la pena. Los animales se ven bien cuidados y en espacios amplios. Se pueden ver de cerca muchos animales que en otras partes se ven demasiado lejos.
Super crowded on Wednesdays (when the admission is for free).
Wednesdays are free entry. Wednesdays are also lllllooooonnnnnng queues.
This is the saddest zoo I have ever been to. Small cages and sad animals (even though the park is so big that they could have made it into a paradise for them), I came out of there really depressed ;/
