After living in New York for about a decade, I finally made it to the New York Botanical Garden. It had been on my list for a while, but since it’s more than two hours from where I live by public transportation, getting there is a commitment in itself. The grounds are beautiful, lush, green, and definitely ideal for anyone who loves nature, scenery, plants, and spending hours outdoors. The staff were also wonderful. Wonderful gardens, but the front guard at the parking lot was unnecessarily rude towards my family. Soured the experience
Peaceful place, to take a walk, on the pathways, close to Bronx river parkway.
I was apprehensive to go at first. But, upon entering, my worries were assuaged and I can confidently say that not a single Jersey Devil, nor a Bigfeet and certainly not no Mongolian Death Worms were present. - Safe for kids.
